Raised on comics and video games, I’ve always had a great appreciation for well composed design and storytelling. I started telling my own stories while finishing my degree in Industrial Design at Georgia Tech. With one foot in the arts and the other in the sciences, I’ve gained the ability to understand and execute the engineering to better inform my designs, regardless of media.
Over the years I designed a movie set, a kitchen featured in Southern Living, and an efficient system to optimize IKEA's yearly demo kitchen refreshes. When I’m not working I’m likely cooking, playing video games (still), exploring nature, cycling, or tackling a rock climbing route that definitely has an easier way up.
Currently in Brooklyn, NY.
I have spent the past decade at the intersection of design and engineering, simultaneously refining my skills in both. I’m driven by the challenge of turning ideas into fully realized solutions, using data insights and user empathy to refine each concept and shape experiences that truly resonate.
My process involves a deep understanding of user needs, business metrics, and the effort required to implement meaningful changes. This approach has enabled me to create solutions that are functional and deeply aligned with user expectations and business goals in our ever-evolving environment.
Combined with my deep knowledge of front end technologies, this method allows me to excel at being the bridge of communication between product and engineering teams, facilitating effective issue resolution and alignment across all stages of development. This holistic, collaborative approach makes me an efficient asset to any project, delivering experiences that are both impactful and well-executed.
